Born under the sign of Pisces, Gerry is naturally drawn to the water. In fact, during his entire life, he's never lived more than four miles from a major body of water! His affinity for the water is easily seen in his Mood Photos and the passion with which he captures the Pacific Ocean and lakes near where he lives in Southern California. Gerry feels he has a personal vision that he wants to share with the world. "I've always loved taking pictures but now technology allows me to do what I want with them, and to expand beyond what is actually seen. What is seen is just a starting place. The technology is just a means to an end vision. It's not about the technology -- the equipment or the software. It's never about the equipment. It's always about the vision I want to share." This vision is the origin of the name Mood Photos. Gerry's goal for each image is to create a mood in the eye of the viewer that gets at the timeless essence of the location he photographs. Gerry's Mood Photos can be seen in art
galleries and museum stores as well as specialty stores, gift shops,
and major hotel chains throughout Southern California. |
